Most families never expect to be involved in the court system. No matter the reason, the experience can be overwhelming and often scary or frustrating. You do not have to go through the process alone and having an experienced, respected attorney at your side can make all the difference. For more than a decade, Ms. Cox has been that attorney, dedicating herself to the service of Hoosier families as they navigate the legal system.

In addition to being a skilled litigator, recognized for several years as a Super Lawyer, Ms. Cox also serves families as a Domestic Relations Mediator, Parenting Coordinator and Guardian ad Litem. A former staff attorney for Kids’ Voice of Indiana, Ms. Cox has often been an instructor helping to provide necessary trainings for attorneys, and community members, seeking to become mediators and guardians ad litem themselves.

In connection with her leadership roles in the Indianapolis Bar Association, where she is a Distinguished Fellow, the Indiana State Bar Association and the Johnson County Bar Association, Ms. Cox has been able to help work to shape the future of Indiana’s legal community. Through these opportunities, and others, Ms. Cox has had the privilege of appearing in front of some of the finest judicial officers, in courtrooms large and small, in Indianapolis and across the state. She brings this experience and knowledge to all her clients’ cases.

A Hoosier by birth, Ms. Cox is a proud graduate of Franklin College and Indiana University McKinney School of Law. When she is not working, Ms. Cox can often be found mowing grass, splitting wood and barbequing with her family at her Brown County homestead.
